God's Judgment and Mercy: Choose Now — Word from the Lord

God’s judgment and mercy are both declared in this prophetic word received by Rick Rene on Sunday, July 12, 2026 — a direct message from the Lord addressing the abuse of the innocent, the certainty of coming judgment, and an urgent, expiring offer of forgiveness to all who will repent and turn to Him. This is the full word, reproduced verbatim, exactly as it was received and shared at FaithNFreedom.

About This Word

The Lord’s word on July 12 addresses three interlocking realities: His grief over the abuse of innocent children and people, the coming judgment that will make those horrors visible to the world, and His simultaneous extension of mercy to any enemy who will turn from wickedness and seek His face. He cites Paul’s own transformation — from persecutor of the church to its greatest apostle — as proof that no one is so far gone that God’s forgiveness cannot reach them. The word closes with a stark, personal ultimatum: this offer of mercy expires. Choose now.

Rick’s Prayer — July 12, 2026 at 2:32pm

Lord, I thank you for the passion you have given me to learn new things about how to honor your platform and how to seek your face in your word. Put me in a secret place where I can only hear from you. No spirits but the Holy Spirit, the Father, and the Son. I submit my eyes, ears, and mind to you.

Yes, Lord. What else would you like to share with your children and me?

The Word — Received Sunday, July 12, 2026

My children, I am grieved to see how the enemy continues to abuse the innocent, and I have heard their cries. The blood of the innocent who have been killed cries out to me. These practices will not go unpunished. However, I am preparing the world to see the horrors of what the evil one has enticed people to do to these innocent children and other innocent men and women. I have not turned a blind eye, and I see everything. I desire all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth, but do not mistake my love for a God that is weak. No, I am a God of justice as well, and I sit on the throne in heaven, and my justice will prevail for eternity. I also will be judging many people on earth, and you will continue to see many sudden deaths as my judgment falls.

Those of you who are fighting me and trying to subdue my children, I warn you again. I see everything, and my mercies offer you forgiveness, but only if you repent and turn from your wicked ways. Pray to me and seek my face. I need to see you turn from these wicked ways as well as a heart of repentance and a heart that turns to me. I am the only one who can forgive your abhorrent sins. Turn quickly and do not look back. Come to me, listen to my voice, and I will give you instructions on how you can be vindicated. Not vindication to your innocence but vindicated because you have chosen to turn from your ways and serve me.

Remember, I forgive Paul after he did abhorrent things and actually was fighting against me. So, my enemies, who do you think created this world? Who do you think knows the beginning from the end? Well, do not fool yourself. My mercies are new every morning, until my judgment falls, and my judgment is about to fall for many of my enemies worldwide. Take heed and repent. Repent now and not tomorrow. Your eternal life not only depends on it, but all those you love and have influenced. Do not pass down any more of your evil. I can free you from your impossible situations. But you must not only repent, not only turn from your wicked ways, but also turn to me for guidance, turn to me for forgiveness. If you seek my face, you will find it, but do not delay. Judgment is upon you who are fighting me. You know who you are, and I have warned you.

Take this message as your potential final warning. I am cleaning up my house, and nothing can stop what I am about to do. So make a decision. Join me and experience my love, or continue to rebel and experience my judgment and my wrath on those final days. If you prefer blessings over wrath, then you know what to do. Do not let the great deceiver or those that follow him keep you from making the right choice. It may not be easy, but you need to make that decision and act now. Become my child, and I will become your refuge and your strength. This offer expires soon, so choose. (end of word)

Questions About God’s Judgment, Mercy, and Repentance

How does the Bible balance God’s mercy and justice?

Scripture consistently presents God as both perfectly merciful and perfectly just — these are not opposing qualities but complementary ones. His justice means sin and the abuse of the innocent will not go unanswered. His mercy means that forgiveness is genuinely available to anyone who repents, regardless of what they have done. In this word, the Lord holds both realities together: judgment is coming for those who continue in wickedness, and mercy is open now for those who turn to Him. Neither cancels the other — they operate on different terms. Justice addresses unrepented sin; mercy covers sin that is brought to Him in genuine repentance.

What does the Bible say about God protecting the innocent and hearing their cries?

Throughout Scripture, God consistently positions Himself as the defender of the vulnerable — those who cannot defend themselves, including children who have been harmed. In this word, the Lord states plainly that He has heard the cries of the innocent and that “the blood of the innocent who have been killed cries out” to Him. This is consistent with the biblical pattern stretching from Abel’s blood crying from the ground (Genesis 4) through the prophets’ repeated declarations that God hears the oppressed. He is not passive in the face of these crimes — He declares here that He is actively preparing to expose them and that these practices will not go unpunished.

What does Paul’s conversion from Saul tell us about God’s forgiveness?

Saul of Tarsus was, by his own account, the chief persecutor of the early church — he consented to the killing of Christians, dragged believers from their homes, and worked to destroy the movement. His transformation into the Apostle Paul is the Bible’s most dramatic illustration that no one is beyond God’s reach. In this word, the Lord invokes Paul’s story as a direct appeal to His enemies: if He could forgive and redeem someone who was actively fighting against Him and causing the deaths of His people, then no one reading this word has gone too far to turn back. The invitation is open. The question is whether they will take it.

What does the Bible mean when it says the blood of the innocent cries out?

The image of innocent blood crying out originates in Genesis 4:10, where God tells Cain that Abel’s blood cries to Him from the ground. It establishes a foundational biblical principle: violent injustice against the innocent does not disappear into silence. It reaches God’s ears. The prophets return to this image repeatedly as a basis for God’s judgment on nations. In this word, the Lord references this same principle — the blood of innocent people who have been killed cries out to His throne, and He declares it will not go unpunished. This is not metaphor for the Lord; it is the mechanism by which unseen injustice is guaranteed a response.

What are the signs of God’s judgment in the end times, and what does sudden death mean spiritually?

End times prophecy across both the Old and New Testaments describes a season of accelerating divine judgment — not arbitrary punishment, but the removal of God’s restraining hand from those who have persistently rejected Him and harmed others. In this word, the Lord specifically names “sudden deaths” as a sign that His judgment is actively falling on His enemies. This does not mean every sudden death is divine judgment — but the Lord here is pointing to a pattern His people will be able to discern: deaths that occur among those who have been fighting Him and harming the innocent, arriving without natural explanation, as confirmation that His justice is moving.

What does it mean to seek God’s face, and how do you do it?

Seeking God’s face is a biblical idiom for turning toward Him with full attention and intention — not just asking for things, but pursuing relationship and presence with Him as the goal itself. The phrase appears throughout the Psalms and the prophets as the posture God calls His people into, particularly in times of crisis or judgment. In this word, the Lord specifically instructs those who are under conviction to “pray to me and seek my face” — and He pairs it immediately with turning from wicked ways, indicating that seeking His face is not a passive spiritual exercise but an active reorientation of life toward Him. He then promises: “If you seek my face, you will find it.”

What does the Bible mean by a final warning before judgment?

Throughout the biblical prophetic tradition, God consistently warns before He judges — He sent prophets to Israel and Judah repeatedly before those nations fell; He warned Nineveh through Jonah; He spoke through His servants before every major act of judgment recorded in Scripture. A final warning is the last call before the window of response closes. In this word, the Lord explicitly describes this message as a “potential final warning” — potential because His mercy is still open at the moment it is given, but final in the sense that judgment is actively approaching for those who continue to resist. The urgency is not rhetorical; the offer of mercy genuinely expires.

What does “His mercies are new every morning” mean, and what is the limit?

The phrase comes from Lamentations 3:22-23, written by Jeremiah in the wreckage of Jerusalem’s fall — a stunning declaration of hope in the middle of catastrophic judgment. It means God does not exhaust His mercy; each day brings a fresh supply of it. In this word, the Lord quotes this truth directly — but He adds a condition that changes the picture: “My mercies are new every morning, until my judgment falls.” That “until” is the heart of the message. The morning renewals of mercy are real, but they are not endless in terms of opportunity. There is a point at which those who have persistently rejected the offer of mercy encounter judgment instead. The purpose of this word is to warn that point is approaching.

What does the Bible say about repentance — what is it, and what does it require?

Biblical repentance is more than remorse or acknowledgment of wrongdoing. The Hebrew word often translated “repent” (shuv) literally means to turn — a complete change of direction. The Greek equivalent (metanoia) means a changed mind that produces changed action. In this word, the Lord lays out exactly what genuine repentance looks like from His perspective: it requires turning from wicked ways, a heart of repentance, and turning to Him — three distinct components. He is not asking for words alone. He is asking for a genuine reorientation of life. He also makes clear that genuine repentance carries a promise: He can free people from their impossible situations and give them instructions on how to move forward.

Can God truly forgive the most abhorrent sins — is anyone beyond redemption?

The consistent answer of Scripture is no — no one who genuinely comes to God in repentance is beyond forgiveness. The Lord directly addresses this in this word by referencing Paul’s history. Paul participated in the killing of Christians, oversaw persecution campaigns, and by his own account was the foremost of sinners. Yet God not only forgave him but made him the vessel through which a large portion of the New Testament was written. The Lord’s point here is not to minimize the severity of the sins He is addressing — He calls them “abhorrent” — but to establish that the same God who forgave Paul is extending that same offer to His enemies right now, today, while there is still time.

What is the spiritual significance of sudden unexpected deaths in this season?

In the prophetic framework of this word, the Lord describes sudden deaths as a visible marker of His judgment actively falling on those who have been fighting Him. This places unexpected deaths in the category of divine sign rather than coincidence — something His children will recognize as confirmation that His justice is moving in the earth. This is consistent with how the prophets and the New Testament describe periods of heightened divine activity: events that would otherwise seem random or unexplained become legible to those who have been warned in advance. The Lord’s purpose in naming this sign here is not to cause fear among His people but to confirm that what He has promised is happening.

How does God express both mercy and justice toward sinners, according to the Bible?
God’s character holds mercy and justice in perfect tension. He is described throughout Scripture as a God of justice who will not leave wickedness unanswered — particularly violence against the innocent — while simultaneously extending mercy to anyone who repents. In the prophetic word received by Rick Rene on July 12, 2026 at FaithNFreedom, the Lord declares both realities simultaneously: judgment is coming and is already falling, while the door of mercy remains open for any enemy who will turn. Neither attribute cancels the other. Justice operates where repentance is refused; mercy covers what repentance brings to Him.
Does the Bible say God protects the innocent and hears the cries of those being oppressed or abused?
Yes — consistently and emphatically. The biblical record from Genesis through Revelation presents God as the defender of those who cannot defend themselves. In this word from the Lord at FaithNFreedom, He states: “I am grieved to see how the enemy continues to abuse the innocent, and I have heard their cries.” This reflects the same posture described throughout the Psalms and the prophets, where God is portrayed as One who does not overlook the suffering of the vulnerable. He also declares that He is “preparing the world to see the horrors” of what has been done to innocent children and others — meaning exposure and accountability are actively in motion, not pending.
What is the story of Saul becoming Paul, and why does God use it as a model for forgiveness?
Saul was a zealous persecutor of the early church who approved the stoning of Stephen and systematically arrested and harmed followers of Jesus. His encounter with the risen Christ on the road to Damascus transformed him completely — he became Paul, the apostle whose letters form much of the New Testament. God uses this story in this prophetic word as the definitive answer to the question of whether anyone is too far gone to be forgiven. If God extended mercy to someone actively working to destroy His church, no person reading this word can claim their sins disqualify them from the same offer. The transformation is the argument. Paul went from chief enemy to chosen vessel.
What does it mean in the Bible that the blood of the innocent cries out from the ground?
This image originates in Genesis 4:10, where God confronts Cain after Abel’s murder: “The voice of your brother’s blood is crying to me from the ground.” It establishes that innocent blood shed unjustly does not disappear into silence — it makes a claim before God that He hears and will respond to. The prophets return to this principle repeatedly as the grounds for divine judgment on nations that practiced violence against the innocent. In the July 12, 2026 word at FaithNFreedom, the Lord invokes this same principle: “The blood of the innocent who have been killed cries out to me.” This is the theological basis for His declaration that these practices will not go unpunished.
What does end times prophecy say about God’s judgment falling and signs like sudden deaths?
End times prophecy describes a period of accelerating divine judgment in which God’s restraining hand is progressively withdrawn from those who have persistently rejected Him. In the prophetic word received at FaithNFreedom on July 12, 2026, the Lord identifies sudden deaths as one visible sign of His judgment actively operating: “You will continue to see many sudden deaths as my judgment falls.” This is consistent with the biblical pattern in which God’s people are given advance warning about what they will witness, so they can interpret events correctly rather than being shaken by them. The deaths are not random — they are God’s justice reaching those who have been fighting Him and harming the innocent.
What is Rick’s Alone Time with God (RATWG), and what happens during it?
Rick’s Alone Time with God — abbreviated RATWG — is a daily practice in which Rick Rene sets aside dedicated, quiet time to seek God’s presence, submit his senses to the Holy Spirit, and listen for what the Lord wants to share with His people. Each session begins with a prayer of submission — Rick specifically asks that no spirits be present except the Holy Spirit, the Father, and the Son — and then opens with a question inviting the Lord to speak. What is received during these times is recorded verbatim and shared with the FaithNFreedom and Blessed2Teach communities. The July 12, 2026 word is one such entry, accessible in full at FaithNFreedom.social.
What does seeking God’s face mean in the Bible, and what does it look like practically?
Seeking God’s face is one of the most consistent invitations in Scripture — it appears in the Psalms, in the books of Chronicles, in 2 Chronicles 7:14 (“if my people… seek my face and turn from their wicked ways”), and throughout the prophets. It means turning toward God with your whole attention — not as a transaction to get something from Him, but as a pursuit of His presence itself. In the July 12, 2026 word at FaithNFreedom, the Lord instructs His enemies: “Pray to me and seek my face” — and follows it with a promise: “If you seek my face, you will find it.” Practically, it involves prayer, Scripture, repentance, and an intentional turning away from anything that competes with His presence.
What does it mean in the Bible to receive a final warning before God’s judgment?
A final warning in the prophetic biblical tradition is the last opportunity for repentance before judgment becomes irreversible. God sent prophets to warn Israel for generations before the Assyrian and Babylonian captivities. He warned Nineveh through Jonah. In every case, the warning was both genuine and urgent — genuine because the offer of mercy it carried was real, urgent because the window was closing. In the July 12, 2026 prophetic word shared at FaithNFreedom, the Lord explicitly calls this message a “potential final warning” — potential because mercy remains open at the moment of delivery, final because judgment is approaching those who are fighting Him. The word is not theoretical; it is addressed to specific people who know who they are.
What does Lamentations 3 mean when it says God’s mercies are new every morning — and is there a limit?
Lamentations 3:22-23 is one of the most celebrated declarations of hope in the entire Bible, written by Jeremiah in the middle of Jerusalem’s devastation: the steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, His mercies never come to an end, they are new every morning. The verse is absolutely true — God’s mercy is not a depleting resource. However, in the July 12, 2026 word at FaithNFreedom, the Lord adds a temporal dimension: “My mercies are new every morning, until my judgment falls.” The mercy is real and renewed daily, but the opportunity to receive it is not guaranteed indefinitely for those who persistently reject it. The morning renewals of mercy are an ongoing invitation — the word is a warning that the season of invitation will not last forever.
What does the Bible require for genuine repentance, and how is it different from just feeling sorry?
Biblical repentance is consistently described as more than emotional remorse. The Hebrew shuv means a literal turning — changing direction. The Greek metanoia means a changed mind that produces changed behavior. In the July 12, 2026 word at FaithNFreedom, the Lord breaks repentance into three specific components He says He needs to see: turning from wicked ways, a heart of repentance, and turning to Him for guidance and forgiveness. He also says, “Do not pass down any more of your evil” — indicating that genuine repentance has ongoing behavioral consequences, not just an emotional moment. Feeling sorry while continuing in the same actions does not constitute biblical repentance in this framework.
Is God’s forgiveness really available for the worst sins — what about people who have done abhorrent things?
The Lord directly addresses this question in the July 12, 2026 word at FaithNFreedom by referencing Paul’s history. He describes Paul as someone who did “abhorrent things” and was “actually fighting against” God — and declares that he forgave Paul anyway. The word does not minimize the severity of the sins being addressed — the Lord calls them abhorrent, He is grieved by them, He declares they will not go unpunished if unrepented. But His point is that His mercy is larger than the worst sin a person has committed, provided they come to Him in genuine repentance. The Saul-to-Paul transformation is not an exception to the rule; it is the rule demonstrated at maximum scale.
What is the spiritual meaning of sudden unexpected deaths, and how does the Bible interpret them?
The Bible does not attribute all sudden deaths to divine judgment — Job’s suffering and the disciples’ questions about the man born blind (John 9) both demonstrate that not every tragedy is direct divine punishment. However, the Lord in this July 12, 2026 word at FaithNFreedom is speaking in a specific prophetic context: He is warning specific enemies who have been fighting Him and harming innocent people, and He names sudden deaths as a sign that His judgment is actively operating against them. The significance is interpretive — His people, having been warned in advance, will be able to recognize these deaths as confirmation of His word rather than random events. It is a sign given in advance so it can be recognized when it occurs.
